  • Palm, USA: The smartphone manufacturer is looking for a senior product manager, responsible for tracking and analysing key hardware technologies, including NFC, that could lead to proposing new or improved product features and possibly new business opportunities for Palm.
  • Vivotech, USA: The NFC and contactless specialist has an opening in Santa Clara, California, for a software engineer, responsible for the design and development of enterprise-strength J2EE-based applications
  • Touchatag, Antwerp: The Alcatel-Lucent venture has a vacancy for a Contactless RFID Expert to develop new applications, support development of client or application software and develop and execute end to end testing. The company is also recruiting a pre-sales engineer and a Jave ME engineer.
  • Scotland: A Senior Analogue IC Design Engineer with experience of ISO14443, RFID and NFC is sought to work on a three month development project.
  • Inside Contactless, France: A fluent English-speaking Analog IC Design Engineer is being sought by this NFC and contactless specialist. Based in Aix-en-Provence.
  • Qualcomm, Atlanta: There are three vacancies at the Firethorn mobile commerce division of Qualcomm:
    • A Business Systems Analyst, responsible for analysing business requirements, providing feedback to internal/external clients and providing technical resources to ensure client expectations are captured accurately. Experience with banking, payments and marketing systems is required.
    • A J2EE Software Engineer who can work independently on small development teams and work with cutting-edge technologies and the latest in application security methodologies.
