Trusted Logic to demonstrate peer-to-peer NFC for Android

Trusted Logic is to demonstrate peer-to-peer connection of mobile handsets through its Trusted NFC software platform for Google Android operating system at Cartes 2009 next week.
"NFC peer-to-peer connection is the latest feature added to Trusted Logic’s NFC stack," the company explains. "It complies with the NFC Forum specifications (LLCP), and Trusted Logic has defined high-level interfaces to give NFC application developers access to the feature. Simulation environments are available to develop such applications either on a PC or directly on development boards."
"Trusted NFC is a complete software platform enabling mobile applications to use handset NFC connectivity," the company continues. "It provides simple interfaces for developing applications, either in native or using Java. Trusted Logic has already developed the JSR257 interface for J2ME/MIDP applications. Trusted NFC provides a similar interface for Android applications."
