Following the successful launch of mobile contactless payments at The State Bank of La Junta, Bling Nation has appointed Rod Stambaugh as regional president for the company's Colorado operations.
"La Junta, Colorado was the first community in the United States to fully embrace mobile payments and — as a result — The State Bank and La Junta merchants and consumers are experiencing an uptick in business and savings," says Wences Casares, co-CEO of Bling Nation. "We foresee other communities throughout Colorado as well as the western United States experiencing the same success. Rod's mobile payments expertise and insight focused on this area of the country will enable Bling Nation to continue expanding the acceptance of secure mobile payments as an alternative to network options that are more expensive and fraught with fraud."
